Poets’ Guide to New Hampshire: More Places, More Poets. The first volume from the Poetry Society of NH, in 2008, established the premise of a travel guide to the State with entries in the form of poems by 181 poets writing over the last two centuries. The second volume (also Poetry Society of NH), in 2010, includes poems by some favorites from the 2008 volume and 126 new poets. It features locations not included in the first volume. A selection of those poets will help the Portsmouth Poet Laureate Program celebrate National Poetry Month by reading their works from the 2010 Poets’ Guide, hosted by the editor of the volumes, John-Michael Albert, who will read a sampling of other poets from the volume.
